Information we use

Knots is a team workspace for shared work and tickets. When you sign in with Google, Clerk receives your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile picture to create and authenticate your account. Knots uses your account identity and name to identify your workspace membership and contributions, and your email to identify your account. Google sign-in does not request access to your Gmail, Drive, or Calendar.

Knots also stores the workspaces, tickets, and other content you create or share. Authentication uses cookies and session information to keep you signed in.

Storage and sharing

Clerk provides account authentication, Convex stores workspace data and files, and Vercel hosts the application. These providers process the information needed to operate Knots. Your display name and workspace contributions are visible to other members of the same workspace. Anyone with a workspace invite link can join that workspace.

Google account information is used to provide sign-in and account features, not sold or used for advertising. Knots retains account and workspace information while it is needed to provide the service or until it is removed.

Your choices and contact

You can review or revoke Knots’ access in your Google Account’s third-party connections. Revoking access does not itself delete content already stored in Knots. For privacy questions or to request removal of your account or personal information, contact johanespeter.jp@gmail.com.
